The ASEAN Secretariat
The ASEAN established the ASEAN Secretariat in February 1076. It is tasked to provide greater efficiency in the coordination of ASEAN entities and support effective implementation of ASEAN projects and activities. The Secretariat is headed by a Secretary General.
